Remembering the Korean War by Author James F. Walsh

Author, James F. Walsh will be sharing his memories as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War on Wed., Nov. 9 @ 11:00 in the Kewanna Union Township Public Library.   His book “A GI Machine Gunner: From the Seminary to Korea’s Front Line 1951-1952” is a memoir of events & experiences that James had while serving in the Korean War.  James lives in nearby Culver, IN.   He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, a Purple Heart, and a Bronze Star for his outstanding military service.

James has also received many awards for his outstanding contributions to the Juvenile Justice System.  He was a social worker, lawyer, and now an author.   James has published in professional journals, popular magazines, and has written several novels.
