Kewanna-Union Township Public Library

Our Mission:

The Kewanna Union Township Public Library is the center of community life, offering opportunities for people to learn, grow, and succeed.

An Estate & Will Planning Workshop will be held at Kewanna Public Library on Thursday, March 21 from 5:30-7:30 pm.   Winamac attorney, Tim Murray will be sharing his expertise in explaining fundamental estate planning concepts in this free workshop.  Frequently asked questions and common misconceptions regarding Wills & Trusts, Asset Protection, Nursing Home Issues, Medicaid Qualifications, and Estate Taxes will be covered.  You won’t want to miss this important workshop.  Everyone interested in Estate & Will Planning are welcome to attend.

Teen Tech Week will be celebrated March 3-9 at Kewanna Public Library.  The library’s weekly teen group, Teens N Tweens, will be hosting activities for Teen Tech Week that include a Tech Show, Lego Tech Design Contest, and Tech Trivia.

Teen Tech Week is a national initiative sponsored by YALSA and is aimed at teens, their parents, educators and other concerned adults. The purpose of Teen Tech Week is to ensure that teens are competent and ethical users of digital media, especially the nonprint resources offered through libraries, such as e-books, databases, audiobooks, and social media.

Teen Tech Week encourages teens to use libraries’ nonprint resources for education and recreation, and to recognize that librarians are qualified, trusted professionals in the field of information technology. Teen Tech Week began in 2007 and has a general theme of Get Connected @ Your Library.
