Back to the Past “Our Kewanna”

Local historian, Bob Clyde, will continue his discussion of the history of Kewanna in Kewanna Union Township Public Library.   Back to the Past: “Our Kewanna” will be held on Wednesday, December 28 @ 11:00.  Back to the Past is held on the last Wednesday of the month @ 11:00.

Coffee & Tea Time is held @ 10:30 every Wednesday morning.  Plan to attend our Coffee @ Tea Time enjoying time with your neighbors and friends and then stay for Back to the Past “Our Kewanna”.

Spice Up Your Life-Make & Take

Join us on Wednesday, December 21 @ 11:00 for “Spice Up Your Life-Make & Take” in Kewanna Union Township Public Library.  Jessica Riffle, Purdue Fulton County Extension Educator, will be teaching about the varieties of spices that are available and how to enhance the flavor of your food.  Stop in for this free program!

Santa Claus is coming on Dec. 17th!

Santa Claus is coming to Kewanna Union Township Public Library on Dec. 17th!

Santa will make a special appearance at the Kewanna Union Township Public Library on Saturday, December 17 from 10:30-12:00 to pose for pictures and to hear children’s Christmas wishes.  The library is located 210 E. Main St., Kewanna, IN.

We will have treats to eat, crafts to make, and lots of Christmas stories to listen to.  Children of all ages are welcome to attend this holiday event!

Monarch Butterflies

Valerie Gordon and Megan Malott from the Soil and Water Conservation District in Fulton County will be giving an educational presentation at Kewanna Union Township Public Library on Wed., Dec. 14 @ 11:00.  Valerie will be presenting a program to educate about Monarch Butterflies from the beginning stage to the end.  Megan will be making the community aware about turning the old fish hatchery into a pollinator habitat and why it is so important to our environment.  Be sure to join us!
