Kewanna-Union Township Public Library

Our Mission:

The Kewanna Union Township Public Library is the center of community life, offering opportunities for people to learn, grow, and succeed.

Santa will make a special appearance at the Kewanna Public Library on Saturday, December 14 from 10:00-11:30 to pose for pictures and to hear children’s Christmas wishes.

We will have treats to eat, crafts to make, and lots of Christmas stories to listen to.  Children of all ages are welcome to attend this holiday event

Kewanna Public Library will host a Make Your Own Christmas Cards on Sat., Nov. 30 @ 1:00.  Join us for a fun afternoon of designing your own Christmas cards to wish your family and friends a Merry Christmas.

Teresa Flickinger will be sharing her love of Christmas card making with us.   We will have lots of Christmas craft supplies available for you.   All you need to bring is your creativity.  Everyone is welcome, and be sure to invite your friends to this fun-filled afternoon.

Renell Finke, Purdue Extension/Fulton County Nutrition Educator, will be presenting “Choosing to Move More Throughout the Day- Part 2” on Wednesday, November 13 @ 11:00.  This program is part 2 of a 3 part series on getting healthy by moving more.  The program will take place in Kewanna Public Library.

 You don’t have to wait until the weather improves to start moving more! In this class we’ll give you practical ways to build more activity into your daily life and take a look at the importance of physical activity throughout the day. No matter what your fitness level or how you spend your days – we’ve got you covered when it comes to new ideas to boost your activity level!

International Games Week brings community together to read, learn and play!

Kewanna Public Library will join over a thousand libraries around the world during International Games Week, November 3-9, as they transform their libraries with play.  Like many other libraries across the country and around the world, Kewanna Public Library offers gaming programs and events suitable for the whole family.   We will have a special International Games Week Event on Saturday, November 9 from 9:00-3:00.  Get your game on and join in the fun!
