Our Homeschoolers @ the Library program is all about science!
We will be doing Valentine STEM activities on Wed., February 19 @ 2:00 in Kewanna Union Township Public Library. STEM Education is an approach that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics to learn and have fun.
Join us for a fun-filled program! All homeschoolers are welcome to attend!
We Need Bluebirds!
Kewanna Union Township Public Library will be hosting a special event to increase the public’s awareness of the importance of bluebirds in our environment. The event will take place on Thurs., February 13 @ 5:30 pm. Kewanna Union Township Public Library is located at 210 E. Main St. Kewanna, IN.
Tony Carroll, DNR Wildlife Biologist, will be instructing those that attend our program about ways to conserve natural resources with an emphasis on bluebirds. We hope that our patrons learn to make protecting our natural resources a priority.
All of those that attend will be able to make and take home their own bluebird house after Tony Carroll’s presentation. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.
This program was made possible at the Kewanna Union Township Public Library through a grant received from Arrow Head Country RC & D. Fulton County Soil & Water Conservation District is partnering with the library for this special event.

Zak, Library Tech Expert, will be sharing this important information on Wednesday, February 12 @ 11:00 in Kewanna Union Township Public Library.
Library Lovers Month is celebrated for the entire month of February! That’s right, love is in the air not just because of Valentine’s Day, but also for library lovers all around the world. The month is dedicated to the people who love the buildings, halls, or rooms that house numerous collections of books, books, and books!
There is something satisfying about thousands of books being organized and categorized a certain way for readers to enjoy.
It’s important to know that libraries offer services that aren’t available on the internet, including free assistance in finding obscure information and borrowing a book that may not be available in the admittedly immense catalogue one can find on the internet.
There’s more to a library than just the books! We also have magazines and movies available for checkout. We offer a wide variety of programs for all ages all year long!
When was the last time you spent time in the library? If it’s been a while, there’s no better time to stop in at Kewanna Union Township Public Library than during Library Lovers’ Month. Browse the shelves, check out a book or two, sit down and read, or attend an event. Fall in love all over again!
