We Need Bluebirds!
Kewanna Union Township Public Library will be hosting 2 special events to increase the public’s awareness of the importance of bluebirds in our environment. The events will take place on Wed., Sept. 18 @ 11:00 am and Thurs., Sept. 19 @ 5:30 pm. Kewanna Union Township Public Library is located at 210 E. Main St. Kewanna, IN.
Tony Carroll, DNR Wildlife Biologist, will be instructing those that attend our program about ways to conserve natural resources with an emphasis on bluebirds. We hope that our patrons learn to make protecting our natural resources a priority.
All of those that attend will be able to make and take home their own bluebird house after Tony Carroll’s presentation. A limited number of bluebird house kits are available. Everyone is welcome to attend these free events.
This program was made possible at the Kewanna Union Township Public Library through a grant received from Arrow Head Country RC & D. Fulton County Soil & Water Conservation District is partnering with the library for these special events.
