2019 Summer Reading Celebration @ Kewanna Public Library

Kewanna Public Library’s 2019 Summer Reading Celebration will be Thurs., July 25 @ 5:00.   All readers active in “A Universe of Stories” our summer reading program and their families will want to be sure to attend.  We will be passing out summer reading certificates of completion, giving out free books to all readers, giving door prizes, having free give aways, serving hot dogs and sno cones, doing face painting, and more.  Don’t miss this special event to honor our summer readers.  Everyone is welcome to attend!

50th Anniversary of the Landing on the Moon Party

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Landing on the Moon, Kewanna Public Library will be celebrating on Wed., July 17th from 10:00-6:00 with special treats, crafts, and contest drawings.  Everyone is invited to attend this special event.

We will also be remembering the July 20, 1969 1st Landing on the Moon at 11:00 am on July 17th.  Please join us to remember this important historical event!

Ice Cream Social

Kewanna Public Library will be celebrating National Ice Cream Month with an Ice Cream Social on Thurs., July 18 at 5:00.  We will have lots of toppings to make your own sundae.  Everyone is welcome to attend!  Don’t forget to stop in at the library any day in July to vote for your favorite flavor of ice cream!

Choosing Yogurt

Nancy Hudson, Purdue Extension/Fulton County HHS Educator, will be presenting “Choosing Yogurt” on Wednesday, July 10 @ 11:00.  This program will take place in Kewanna Public Library.

Please join Nancy as she talks about yogurt.  Learn about and sample some of the many yogurts on the market and their uses.
