Local historian, Bob Clyde, will continue his discussion of the history of Kewanna in Kewanna-Union Township Public Library.   Back to the Past: “Our Kewanna” will be held on Wednesday, August 28 @ 11:00.  Back to the Past is held on the last Wednesday of the month @ 11:00.

Coffee & Tea Time is held @ 10:30 every Wednesday morning.  Plan to attend our Coffee @ Tea Time enjoying time with your neighbors and friends and then stay for Back to the Past “Kewanna”.

Empower Me To Be Clutter Free-Part 2 will be offered by Jessica Riffle, Purdue-Fulton County Educator, on Wed., August 21 @ 11:00 in Kewanna Union Township Public Library.  Clutter is a disordered collection of things that impedes movement or reduces effectiveness.  Join us to learn how to clear out the clutter!

2024 Youth Summer Reading Program “Adventure Begins @ Your Library”

Enjoying books and time in nature will be a part of the theme for our young readers, as Kewanna Union Township Public Library presents “Adventure Begins @ Your Library” during their summer reading library program.  Summer programs will include games, activities, art & craft projects, and more. We have many special events planned too.

The 2024 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, birth through 18, with programs, prize drawings, story times, and lots more.

Registration for “Adventure Begins @ Your Library” begins on May 28 and the summer reading program will end on July 20.

All programs are free of charge.  Sign up for a fun-filled summer @ the library!

Kewanna Union Township Public Library receives a grant from Arrowhead RC & D for Bluebird Conservation

Thank you Arrowhead RC & D for awarding Kewanna Union Township Public Library a grant to purchase 80 bluebird house kits. Our library will be hosting 2 events later this year about “Bluebird Conservation”. Tony Carroll, DNR Wildlife Biologist, will be sharing information about the importance of bluebirds in nature. After Tony’s presentation, those that attend will be making a bluebird house to take home. More information will be shared at a later date!
