Ronald McDonald will be making a special appearance at the Kewanna Public Library on Thurs., July 21 @ 3:00.  Come and meet Ronald McDonald and see his fun educational show…”It’s Book Time with Ronald McDonald!”  His show will be filled with magic, puppetry, and lots of laughs.  Ronald shares his excitement for reading and helps get children excited about reading too!

Nipsco will be presenting a safety program at Kewanna Public Library on Thursday, July 14 @ 3:00.  Nipsco is a northern Indiana natural gas and electric provider.  Come and learn the rules and basic principles of electrical and natural gas safety concepts.   Everyone is welcome to attend this free program.

Local artist, Lindsey Kozubik, will be teaching Art for Kids @ Kewanna Public Library for 4 weeks on Tuesday and Thursday mornings beginning July 12^th.   Ms. Kozubik is also an art teacher for the Logansport Community School Corporation and will be sharing her expertise with many different mediums during her classes.  The free art classes will be on Tuesday and Thursdays 10:00-12:00 from July 12^th thru August 4^th.  Children in grades, Kindergarten thru Grade 5, are welcome to attend.  All supplies will be furnished, and sign-up is preferable.  Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions, if possible.  The Art for Kids classes will be co-sponsored by the Akron Area Arts League.

The children’s art projects will be on display at the Kewanna Public Library during a Kids Art Show in August after completion of their classes.

“Being Active” programs will include hearing stories, making crafts, snacks, and participating in lots of fun and healthy activities.  The “Being Active” programs will be every Wednesday and Thursday June 8-July 21 @ 4:00.

The same “Being Active” program will be given on Wed., and Thurs. each week.
