Read Down Your Fines Sept. 1-Dec. 30, 2017

 

Kewanna Public Library will be offering a fine forgiveness program “Read Down Your Fines!” to patrons 18 & under.  Readers may sign-up to participate in “Read Down Your Fines!” beginning Sept. 1, 2017.   Readers with fines over $9.99 accumulated at Kewanna Public Library will be eligible to participate.  The reader and their parent will be asked to sign a reading contract.  The reader must receive approval at the library in order to participate.  All books that will be used as credit for this program are to be checked out or read in the library by December 30, 2017.   Start the New Year with no library fines!   Stop in at the library to sign up soon!

Good’s History Review: Early Schools of Union Township

Good’s History Review topic for August will be “Early Schools of Union Township” on Wednesday, August 9  @ 3:00 and August 30 @ 11:00.

Local historian, Marvin Good, will be sharing his knowledge about events of the past and make history come alive!  His programs will include our community history, as well as, many historical events and memorabilia of the early days in Indiana.
