Make Your Own Christmas Cards

Kewanna Public Library will host a Make Your Own Christmas Cards on Thurs., Dec. 6 @ 5:30.  Join us for a fun night of designing your own Christmas cards to wish your family and friends a Merry Christmas. 

Teresa Flickinger will be sharing her love of Christmas card making with us.   We will have lots of Christmas craft supplies available for you.   All you need to bring is your creativity.  Everyone is welcome, and be sure to invite your friends to this fun-filled night.

Santa Claus is coming to Kewanna Public Library!

Santa will make a special appearance at the Kewanna Public Library on Saturday, December 8 from 10:00-11:30 to pose for pictures and to hear children’s Christmas wishes. The library is located 210 E. Main St., Kewanna, IN.

Local children’s book author, Donna Frisinger, will be sharing her newest book, A Transistor Christmas, during our Santa Claus Christmas Event. Come and meet this award winning author and listen to her read her first books about Bink and Slinky too.

We will have treats to eat, crafts to make, and lots of Christmas stories to listen to. Children of all ages are welcome to attend this holiday event.  Join us for a fun-filled time and don’t forget your Christmas list!

What’s the Sticky on Gluten?

Nancy Hudson, Purdue Extension/Fulton County HHS Educator, will be presenting “What’s the Sticky on Gluten?” on Wednesday, November 21 @ 11:00.

The gluten-free diet is emerging as one of the most popular trends on the market, but gluten seems to be widely misunderstood.  This program defines gluten, describes a gluten-free diet, and discusses who should follow this diet plan.  Join us as we dive into the “world of gluten-free”.

Kewanna Public Library will join over a thousand libraries around the world during International Games Week as they transform their libraries with play. Like many other libraries across the country and around the world, Kewanna Public Library will offer special gaming programs and events suitable for the whole family November 5-10.
