Kewanna-Union Township Public Library

Kewanna Public Library will host “Cookies & Canvas” on Wed., June 19 @ 2:00.  “Cookies & Canvas” will be led by local artist, Lindsey Kozubik.  Lindsey will be sharing her talent & love of art with our young artists.

Embrace your creative side while spending time with friends and enjoying some sweet treats!  You will paint step-by-step with instruction from an experienced and enthusiastic artist.   You will leave with a one of a kind creation and a new found talent!

All young artists are welcome to attend. Pre-registration is helpful.  All supplies and refreshments are provided – just bring yourself!

Star Wars Event

Join us for a special Star Wars Event!  Come & meet special Star Wars characters and pose with them for keepsake pictures. There will be special door prizes, activities, food, and lots of fun!  Use the force to help celebrate “A Universe of Stories” by attending this special event on Thurs., June 13 @ 5:30 in Kewanna Public Library.

A long time ago in a galaxy far away, Star Wars was born.  Whether you & your family are longtime fans of characters such as Darth Vader, Han Solo, or Luke Skywalker, or just recent recruits, join us for a fun filled evening.  No spaceship required!

 “A Universe of Stories” is the theme for our 2019 Summer Reading Program.   We will explore all things related to space all summer long.  We have many extra programs planned as well, including a Star Wars Event, an Ice Cream Social, & Cookies & Canvas.   “Space Camp” programs will include hearing stories, making crafts, snacks, and participating in lots of fun activities.  The “Space Camp” programs will be every Wednesday and Thursday June 5-July 18 @ 4:00.

Captain Ca$h will take you on an adventure to islands of Earning, Saving, Spending, and Borrowing!  This 4 part series will be presented on Thurs., June 6, 20, 27 & July 11 @ 3:00.  Nancy Hudson, HHS Educator, will be helping us unlock the secret of becoming the captain of our own future!

Captain Ca$h will be held at the Kewanna Public Library.  The library is located on 210 E. Main St., Kewanna, IN 46939.
