In honor of Indiana’s 200th birthday, Kewanna Public Library will be celebrating on Wed., Dec.7 from 10:00-6:00 with birthday cake and free give aways.  Everyone is invited to attend this special event.

We will be remembering Indiana’s past during a “Taking a Look Back at Indiana” program, which will be held on the same day @ 11:00.

Santa will make a special appearance at the Kewanna Public Library on Saturday, December 10 10:30-12:00 to pose for pictures and to hear children’s Christmas wishes!  We will also have treats, make crafts, and listen to Christmas stories.  Children of all ages are welcome to attend this holiday event.

International Games Day @ Your Library brings community together to read, learn and play

Kewanna Public Library will join over a thousand libraries around the world on Saturday, November 19, 2016, for the ninth annual celebration of gaming in libraries – International Games Day @ Your Library. Like so many other libraries across the country and around the world, Kewanna Public Library will offer special gaming programs all day suitable for the whole family.

International Games Day @ your library is an international initiative supported by the American Library Association, the Australian Library and Information Association, and Nordic Game Day. Kewanna Public Library will be hosting an “Honoring Our Vets” Reception on Thursday, November 10 at 6:00.  All veterans, family members of veterans, those currently serving in the military, and anyone else that would like to honor our heroes are invited to attend.  A light meal will be served.  Kewanna Public Library is located at 210 E.
